Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE. The exam is conducted usually between March and April. NTA will announce CMAT 2024 exam date most likely in the last week of January and start CMAT 2024 registrations in February. CMAT is conducted at the end of MBA entrance exam season, so MBA aspirants don’t have to study much as the previous experience of exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP comes in use. CMAT score is accepted by about 1,300 MBA colleges in India which includes the top colleges.
Exam Pattern:
CMAT is composed of 100 questions, and its time duration is three hrs. It is an objective test that is designed to check the general aptitude and knowledge of the candidates. There are no individual sectional time limits in CMAT, which means it is up to the test-taker to maintain a balance among different sections. The CMAT exam consists of five sections: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Eligibility:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2023-24, can also apply for CMAT- 2023.
