CMAT 2025 Overview
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission in MBA and similar other management courses at the postgraduate level. CMAT 2025 is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). Prior to 2019, CMAT was conducted by AICTE. It is an online computer based exam to determine a candidate’s admission in the management courses offered by the b-schools in India. CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Aspirants who are looking to appear for CMAT 2025 for admission in management courses like MBA, PGDM, etc in their desired colleges must meet the eligibility criteria set for the exam. There is no bar on age when applying for CMAT 2025.
CMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks for general category students and 45% of marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Final year students are also eligible for CMAT 2025 given that he/she submits the necessary documents before the commencement of academic session.

How to Register for CMAT 2025?
For CMAT 2025 registration, aspirants can follow the step-by-step process provided below. Prior to that, it must be kept in mind that aspirants can register for CMAT 2025 only once.
CMAT 2025 Registration Process
- Visit the CMAT 2025 official website: exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT
- Click on the CMAT Registration Link and then click on ‘New Registration’
- Mention your name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth as asked
- Register using your valid mobile number and email to generate the application number.
- Note down the CMAT 2025 application number.
CMAT Application Process 2025
- Fill in the CMAT 2025 application form online as asked.
- Upload scanned images as mentioned in the application.
- Next, upload your scanned signature.
- For PwD candidates, you need to upload your PwD certificate at this stage.
- Next, you need to pay the CMAT 2025 application fee of Rs 2,000 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL (Male candidates) and Rs 1,000 for female, third gender, SC, ST, PwD candidates.
- The fees is to be paid using the HDFC and SBI Bank Gateway through UPI/Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
- Keep a copy of the filled in application form and fee receipt for future references.
- This marks the end of the CMAT 2025 application process.

CMAT 2025 Application Fee
For the CMAT 2025 application process, candidates are required to pay a specified application fee based on their category and gender. Male candidates who belong to the General category, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), or Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) are required to pay CMAT application fee of Rs 2,000.
However, for female candidates, as well as those who identify as third gender, and candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the application fee is reduced to Rs 1,000.
Candidates should ensure that they fall under the appropriate category before making their payment. Incorrect categorization may lead to issues at the time of application verification.
CMAT 2025 Admit Card Download Link
Admit card for CMAT 2025 will be available for download once it is released. The direct link to download CMAT 2025 admit card will be mentioned here as soon as it is out. The admit card is given to candidates only if they meet the eligibility criteria. You need to download it from the NTA website and go to the exam center on the date, time, and location mentioned on the Admit Card. You won’t be allowed to take the exam at any other time or place. If you have trouble downloading the Admit Card, you can call the Help Line from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. If there are any mistakes on your Admit Card, contact the Help Line, but you can still take the exam with it while corrections are made later.
