- A graduate degree under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
- An honors degree under the 10+2+4 pattern with at least 50% aggregate marks, including languages, from a recognized university.
- For correspondence or open university graduates, the degree must follow a 3+2 year duration and be recognized by law.
